Aerosols 2016 conference topics:

  • Aerosols in indoor air: sources, chemical composition, gas-particle interactions, infiltration processes
  • Exposure assessment: instrumentation, exposure characterisation and control, nanosafety, standards and guidelines
  • Indoor environments air modelling
  • Mitigation strategies including engineering solutions: ventilation, air filtration, protective equipment
  • Exposure during commuting: transport microenvironments
  • Linkages between aerosol properties and health effects
  • Bioaerosols in indoor air

The main objectives of the conference are to:

  • provide a forum for researchers, engineers and students,
  • share our experiences and exchange our knowledge,
  • integrate industry professionals and scientific research communities,
  • create opportunities to update and improve knowledge,
  • present the most recent contributions in the area of aerosols and health effects, and
  • transfer knowledge and interact with stakeholders.
